资源简介:
To investigate dietary changes during the Middle Ages, carbon and nitrogen isotopes were measured in bone collagen from 97 humans and 14 animals from the medieval ecclesiastical centre of Stará Boleslav, together with the comparative dataset of 28 humans from Prague-Loretánské Square. The Stará Boleslav dataset was dated between 900 AD and 1450 AD and was divided into three contexts on the basis of burial location (unknown defunct church cemetery vs. the cemetery around the St. Wenceslas Basilica) and chronology: pre-1150 AD and the post-1150 AD phase of the St. Wenceslas Basilica cemetery. The cemetery at Prague Loretánské Square was dated between 950 and 1150 AD. A total of 21 samples from Stará Boleslav also provided radiocarbon dates.
