VPRS 15814 Local Laws

This series comprised Richmond City Council by-laws and regulations made under the provisions of relevant Local Government Acts.Units 1 and 2 consisted of by-laws passed between 1856-1974. Unit 1 contained handwritten by-laws from 1856-1969; Unit 2 contained a full set of printed by-laws 1856-1974. Special orders and regulations together with any related correspondence were filed in alphabetical order by subject at the front of Unit 2.Unit 3 consisted of by-laws of the Local Board of Health for the Borough of Richmond made under the Public Health Amendment Statute 1867, No 310 for the Sanitary Regulation of the Borough of Richmond in 1870.
