Penn State University Cover Crop Cocktails: Surface Soil Inorganic Nitrogen Data

The dataset is a cleaned/summarized version of data collected from 2012-2022 at the Cover Crop Cocktail site for surface soil inorganic nitrogen. Surface soil samples are collected approximately monthly during cover crop growing season. Data include sampling timepoint information (date, year, month, day), sampling plot information (entry, block, plot, strip), cover crop treatment, crop window, and sample values (nitrate and ammonium in parts per million (ppm) and milligrams of nitrogen per kilogram of soil (mg N/kg soil); total nitrogen in mg N/kg soil).
