Across three experiments (N =460), we examined the impact of cyber-ostracism on online cooperation (Experiments 1-3) and the moderating effect of self-affirmation (Experiments 2 and 3). We manipulated cyber-ostracism using a recall writing task and used the number of tokens donated in an online public goods game as a measure of online cooperation.
