Generative AI as a Content Accessibility Tool for Inclusive Music Education Teacher-Mediated Feasibility
收藏资源简介:
What this deposit contains An eight-month feasibility study of an AI-assisted musical adaptation pipeline, conducted at the Unidad Educativa Especializada Carlos Garbay Montesdeoca (Riobamba, Ecuador) with 60 students with special educational needs distributed across six intact classes — four receiving AI-adapted musical material (n = 40) and two continuing usual practice (n = 20). Class teachers rated each student weekly on a five-point observational rubric for 32 consecutive weeks. This deposit provides the aggregate behavioural data, the complete analysis code, the adapted musical scores, and the published figures. 2. What this deposit does NOT contain, and why Student-level data are not released. Condition 4 of the ethical approval governing this study (Approval No. 0037-CIRA-UTI-2026, Institutional Committee for Academic Review, Universidad Tecnológica Indoamérica) requires that: "Data must be reported exclusively in aggregate form using alphanumeric coding, with no collection of photographic, audiovisual, or biometric material." Accordingly, the 480 student-month observations underlying this study are not deposited. They remain with the participating centre under alphanumeric coding. No photographic, audiovisual or biometric material was collected at any point in the study, so none exists to withhold. Practical consequence for reuse. The multilevel models reported in Section 4.3–4.5 of the manuscript are estimated on student-level data and therefore cannot be re-run from the files in this deposit. The code that produced them is included in full (scripts/02_analysis_full.py) so that every modelling decision is inspectable, but executing it requires the restricted dataset. The cluster-level analyses (Section 4.6) can be fully reproduced from the deposited aggregate — see scripts/03_reproduce_from_aggregate.py. Researchers wishing to verify the student-level results may contact the corresponding author; access requires authorisation from the participating centre and, where applicable, an amendment from CIRA.
