This file contains supporting data for "Cardiovascular pathophysiology upon ?SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 vaccination". The emergence of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in 2019, which lead to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has posed a major threat to the global public health-care system. This project aims to model cardiovascular pathophysiology upon SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19 vaccination <i>in vitro </i>and thereby develop a deeper understanding on the underlying mechanisms. Three <i>in vitro </i>cardiovascular models including human embryonic stem cell (hESC)-derived cardiomyocytes, engineered human ventricular cardiac tissue strip (hvCTS), and engineered human blood vessel construct were employed.
