HOW TO STOP GAMBLING AMONG TEENAGERS?

Teenage gambling has become an important public health concern, driven in part by persuasive advertising and the promise of quick financial rewards. This article proposes a mixed-methods study of how exposure to gambling advertisements and school-based educational programmes relate to teenagers’ awareness of gambling risks. It discusses reducing advertising exposure, strengthening education, and encouraging cooperation between parents, schools, technology companies, and governments as the main preventive measures. The article argues that protecting teenagers from gambling-related harm requires a comprehensive approach and is a shared social responsibility.
