3D reconstruction for dog MHNGr.ET.1023. MHNGr.ET.1023 is a mummy of a dog puppy, relatively not well preserved. The organs and the fur have disappeared, the skin is clearly visible despite many traces of putrefaction as holes. The eyes, ears and snout are all recognizable. The skeleton is well preserved. The atlas and axis vertebrae form a strong angle with the skull, which makes the foramen magnum visible. Additionally, one can notice a small skull fracture on the puppy’s left parietal bone. The teeth are still present and in place in the mandibles. The lacteal teeth are erupted and the permanent dentition is visible inside the mandible.
