资源简介:

This dataset contains individual-level measurements from a 12-week feeding trial on Clarias gariepinus (n = 75 fish across 5 dietary treatments). Juvenile African catfish (initial weight: 47.49 ± 0.21 g) were fed five isonitrogenous diets: T1 (Control): 40% fishmealT2: 15% fishmeal, 20% poultry by-product meal (PBM), 5% brewer’s yeastT3: 8% fishmeal, 25% PBM, 7% yeastT4: 0% fishmeal, 30% PBM, 10% yeastT5: 100% PBM (unbalanced, simulating on-farm practice)Data include: Growth performance: initial/final body weight (g), daily weight gain (g/day), specific growth rate (SGR, %/day), feed conversion ratio (FCR), survival rate (%)Hepatic enzymes: alanine aminotransferase (ALT, U/L), aspartate aminotransferase (AST, U/L)Biochemical parameters: cholesterol (mg/dL)Hematological parameters: hemoglobin (g/dL), hematocrit (%), lymphocytes (%)All values are reported per individual fish (n = 15 per treatment). These raw data underpin all tables and figures in the associated manuscript: "Partial replacement of fishmeal with poultry by-product meal and brewer’s yeast improves growth and health in African catfish (Clarias gariepinus), while a 100% PBM diet causes metabolic stress.
