资源简介:
Slocum glider data were collected during a southern Lake Michigan deployment from 2019-09-10 through 2018-10-18. The glider initially deployed from Benton Harbor, MI and traveled northwest to buoy 45007. Near buoy 45007 there is a co-located vertical temperature mooring maintained by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory. The glider continued northwest to Milwaukee, WI. Next, the glider transverse the lake west, to a station at 110 m water depth, near Muskegon, MI. This transect was repeated several times before crossing the lake west to Milwaukee, WI, a second time. Afterward, the glider traveled southeast to buoy 45007 for a pass before returning to Muskegon, MI to repeat the station 110 transect. After that transect was repeated a number of times the glider was finally retrieved. Note, the glider was deployed in areas of Lake Michigan with at least 30 m of depth. The glider collected vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, depth, chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM), backscatter, and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) between depths of 0 and 130 m.cdm_data_type = TrajectoryProfileVARIABLES:beta_700nm (sci_flbbcd_bb_units, ft)cdom (sci_flbbcd_cdom_units, 1e-9)conductivity (Sea Water Electrical Conductivity, S.m-1)crs (http://www.opengis.net/def/crs/EPSG/0/4326)density (Sea Water Density, kg.m-3)depth (m)fluorescence (sci_flbbcd_chlor_units, kg.m-3)instrument_ctd (CTD Metadata, 1)instrument_flbbcdinstrument_par (Biosperical Instruments Photosynthetically Active Radiation)lat_uv (Depth-averaged Latitude)latitude (Profile Latitude, degrees_north)lon_uv (Depth-averaged Longitude)longitude (Profile Longitude, degrees_east)m_water_depth (m)precise_lat (Precise Latitude, degree_north)...
