资源简介:
This data package describes a replicated study comparing
N2O emissions from plant-water-soil scenarios, typical of Summer
broadacre cropping systems (soybeans) in the irrigated areas of
the Riverine Plane in the Southern Murray Darling Basin,
Australia. The methodology involves a large weighing lysimeter
facility fitted with automated greenhouse gas chambers for
comprehensive determination of water balance, direct gas fluxes
and nitrogen and carbon in leachates. The experiment was
designed to i) obtain relationships between soil moisture
wet-dry cycles and N2O emissions (with and without fertilizer
application) for improved calibration of computer models
developed to predict soil N2O emissions at a national level. ii)
Compare N2O fluxes from a wheat stubble treatment with a soy
beans sown into wheat stubble treatment, keeping irrigation
constant, to better quantify direct N2O fluxes from an
irrigated Summer legume crop.
