Evaluation of the effects of reduced fertilizer application rates on the fertility and biodiversity in arable soils

The main objective of the project is to trace the effects of reduced nitrogen fertilisation, which guarantees good yields on the one hand, and on the other hand maintaining fertility and stability of the soil microbial biodiversity (within the bacterial microbiome and the fungal mycobiome) in relation to maize cultivated as a monoculture in a no-till (NT) system compared to the traditional ploughed (P) system.
