The data and materials that support the results or analyses of the study. A cross-sectional quantitative approach was adopted for the study. A convenient sample of 1119 undergraduate students from two universities in the Volta Region of Ghana completed self-administered questionnaires following the appropriate ethical approval. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U-tests drawing on IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 25.0.
