Metagenome assembled genomes recovered from deep metagenomic sequencing of the seagrass, Zostera marina

Previous amplicon surveys of the microbial community associated with the seagrass Zostera marina have uncovered a wealth of potentially novel fungi. In this study, we employed deep metagenomic sequencing in an attempt to recover metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) from these fungi and other microbial eukaryotes associated with Zostera marina leaves. Additionally, we utilized this metagenomic data to investigate bacterial and viral MAGs present in these samples.
