Crop Water Requirements and Crop Coefficients Dataset for Over 60 Crops Across Multiple Climate Zones.
收藏资源简介:
The following dataset includes information about Crop Water Requirement (CWR) and crop coefficient (Kc) of more than 60 crops that grow in four climatic zones, which are Arid, Semi-Arid, Sub-Humid, and Humid zones. Many crops have more than one entry since there can be variations in terms of the crop's growing area, growing period, or type.Variables in each database entry include the following: Crop growth stage duration in days: Initial, Developing, Midseason, and Late season, and Total crop growth stage's duration Growing region and climatic zone: Area and climatic zone from Arid to Humid where the crop grows Reference evapotranspiration (ETo): Approximately daily value of ETo in mm/day for the particular climatic zone where it represents the basic parameter for computing CWR Crop coefficient: Crop growth stages' dimensionless parameters Kc ini, Kc mid, and Kc end for the scaling up of ETo to CWR Crop Water Requirement: CWRini, CWRmid, and CWR late in mm/day computed as the product of Kc and ETo This data set was calculated using the interpolation of values in Table 11 and Table 12 found in Chapter 6 of FAO Irrigation and Drainage Paper No. 56 (Allen et al., 1998). Using the data on Kc and stage duration in FAO-56, stage-by-stage CWR has been estimated for the climatic regions mentioned in the publication. The resulting data was organized by the author to create an organized table for the direct use of this data in the process of irrigation planning, crop water modeling, and agricultural water management studies or similar processes where the original tables in FAO-56 will require some interpretation. In case when Kc and CWR values in the data set are equal to zero, this means that these values are missing in the source tables.
