We perform a choice experiment with 81 landowners, in the northwestern andes of tropical Andean mountains in Ecuador, to elicit their preferences regarding attributes of forest rstoration programs. We evaluated 4 attributes 1) restoration strategy, land share, coordination instance and monetary compensation.
