Time allocation to fuel wood collection and rural child schooling in Uganda

The data is picked from the Uganda National Household Survey 2019/20 collected by Uganda Bureau of Statistics. It was purposively selected to include only the rural households from all regions in Uganda. It includes observations on time spent collecting fuel wood, distance to fuel wood collecting areas, income of the households, gender of the children (6-23 years), gender of the household head, age of the household members. However, these are only for rural households as mapped in the survey. The data was collected using random samples across the country and collected for a period of 12months to cater for seasonality.本数据集源自乌干达统计局（Uganda Bureau of Statistics）采集的2019/20年度乌干达全国住户调查（Uganda National Household Survey）。本次数据经针对性筛选，仅纳入乌干达全国各区域的农村住户样本。数据集涵盖多项观测指标：住户采集薪柴的耗时、薪柴采集点与住户的距离、住户收入、6至23岁儿童的性别、住户户主的性别以及住户成员年龄。需说明的是，如调查设计所示，上述指标仅针对农村住户有效。本次数据采集采用全国范围的随机抽样方案，采集周期为12个月，以充分覆盖季节波动对数据的影响。
