东海区大陆海岸线介于23°37′N ~ 31°46′N,117°11′E ~ 122°08′E之间。它北起长江口启东嘴,南到福建、广东交界的铁炉港。南北跨越8个纬度,隶属上海、浙江、福建三省市。基于Landsat TM/OLI影像(空间分辨率均为30 m),经对影像解译及波段边缘检测,确定和修正岸线位置,得到1990-2015年5年间隔的东海区大陆海岸线时空分布数据。参考国家海岸基本功能规划的类型,并根据海岸线的自然状态和人为利用方式,将海岸线分为自然岸线和人工岸线两大类。自然岸线又分为基岩岸线、沙砾质岸线、淤泥质岸线和河口岸线。人工岸线又分为养殖岸线、港口码头岸线、建设岸线和防护岸线。通过不同年份岸线变迁强度、岸线分维数等相关模型,计算得到岸线变化强度、分形维数等数据,共同构成中国东海区5年间隔大陆海岸线及其类型时空变化数据集(1990-2015)。数据统计结果表明,东海区大陆岸线总长4720.74 km(2015年)。1990-2015年,自然岸线占总岸线长度的比例由68.06%减少到46.12%;人工岸线占总岸线长度的比例由31.94%增加到53.88%。该数据集内容包括1990-2015年5年间隔的中国东海区以下数据:(1)大陆海岸线及其类型空间分布数据(.shp);(2)大陆海岸线的类型结构数据(.xlsx);(3)各区域岸线的分形维数(.xlsx);(4)海岸线变化强度(.xlsx)。数据集主要以.shp格式和.xlsx存储,由43个数据文件组成,数据量为3.68 MB(压缩为1个文件,压缩后数据量为1.70 MB)。
The continental coastline of the East China Sea region spans between 23°37′N ~ 31°46′N and 117°11′E ~ 122°08′E. It starts from Qidong Mouth at the Yangtze River Estuary in the north, and extends south to Tielu Port at the border of Fujian and Guangdong Provinces. Spanning 8 latitudes from north to south, the study area is administratively under the jurisdiction of three provincial-level administrative regions: Shanghai Municipality, Zhejiang Province and Fujian Province. Based on Landsat TM/OLI images (both with a spatial resolution of 30 m), the shoreline positions were identified and corrected via image interpretation and band edge detection, and the spatio-temporal distribution data of the continental coastline in the East China Sea region with a 5-year interval from 1990 to 2015 were obtained. Referring to the national coastal basic function planning types, and combining the natural state and anthropogenic utilization modes of the coastline, the shorelines were classified into two broad categories: natural shorelines and artificial shorelines. Natural shorelines are further divided into bedrock shorelines, sandy-gravel shorelines, muddy shorelines and river mouth shorelines; artificial shorelines include aquaculture shorelines, port and wharf shorelines, construction shorelines and protective shorelines. Relevant models such as shoreline change intensity and shoreline fractal dimension were used to calculate corresponding parameters including shoreline change intensity and fractal dimension, which collectively form the Spatio-temporal Change Dataset of Continental Coastline and Its Types in the East China Sea Region of China (1990-2015) with a 5-year interval. Statistical results show that the total length of the continental coastline in the East China Sea region was 4720.74 km in 2015. From 1990 to 2015, the proportion of natural shorelines in the total coastline length decreased from 68.06% to 46.12%, while the proportion of artificial shorelines increased from 31.94% to 53.88%. The dataset includes the following data of the continental coastline in the East China Sea Region of China with a 5-year interval from 1990 to 2015: (1) Spatial distribution data of continental coastline and its types (.shp); (2) Type structure data of continental coastline (.xlsx); (3) Fractal dimension data of shorelines in each regional segment (.xlsx); (4) Shoreline change intensity data (.xlsx). The dataset is primarily stored in .shp and .xlsx formats, consisting of 43 individual data files, with an uncompressed total size of 3.68 MB. When compressed into a single file, the dataset has a size of 1.70 MB.
