Genomic characterization of Partridge pegivirus (ParPgV) associated with encephalitis in red-legged partridges in France

This project investigates outbreaks of viral encephalitis in red-legged partridges (Alectoris rufa) in France, which led to the discovery and genomic characterization of a novel avian pegivirus (Partridge pegivirus, ParPgV). Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was performed on brain tissue from three clinically affected adult birds, with both RNA-seq and DNA-seq libraries generated from each individual.This submission provides the raw sequencing data supporting genomic and phylogenetic analyses of ParPgV.
