Snow Data from National Water and Climate Center

The automated systems run by the Natural Resources Service and the National Water and Climate Center over the Western U.S. and Alaska collect snow pack water content data, snow depth, precipitation accumulation and air temperature data. Many enhanced stations also report soil temperature and moisture measurements plus barometric pressure, relative humidity, solar radiation and wind data. Data collected are processed for quality and distributed on the National Water and Climate Center's web site. The same data are archived here for climate studies.
