Microarray were performed on Ctl and cKO mouse after surgery, proximal epididymis of SHAM and the EDL epididymides were collected We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying regeneration of the tissue depending on ARL13b expression on basal cell Eight weeks old mice from control (Ctl) or cKO (conditional knock out of Arl13b in Krt5-positive basal cell) undergo surgery. In each mice, one epididymis was used as a control (Sham) and the other had an efferent duct ligation (EDL). RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays were then assessed. We then compared the gene expression between Ctl and cKO mice depending on their surgical condition (SHAM/EDL).
