“Blind-Killing” of male and female Drosophila embryos by a natural variant of the endosymbiotic bacterium Spiroplasma poulsonii RNA was extracted from (i) the hemolymph of 30 1-week-old infected flies pelleted by 30 min of centrifugation at 16,000 x g by the TRIzol method following the manufacturer’s instructions. Three independent replicates were prepared for each condition.
