Resistance to tricyclic class of GyrB/ParE dual-targeting pyrimidoindole inhibitor (TriBE) was studied using experimental evolution in morbidostat continuous culture device. The representative of TriBE class GP-6 was used to treat bacterial cultures of Escherichia coli BW25113 and Acinetobacter ATCC 17978. The time series of samples were taken during cultivation to observe mutation dynamics. After evolutionary trajectories were established the clones were selected to reveal resistance determinants.
