To his left stands a bartender, reaching for a glass on a shelf behind the bar area. Several rows of glasses sit on a four-level shelf, behind which is a set of blinds on a window. Left of the scene stand more windows without blinds. A glass-topped table and wooden chair sit to the left. The picture is framed with shutters lining both sides.
