Digital Archive from a Strip Map And Sample at Seaton Delaval, Northumberland, January 2023

This collection comprises images and CAD data from a strip, map, and sample at Seaton Delaval, Northumberland. This work was undertaken by Archaeological Services Durham University in January 2023. The remains of a small Middle Iron Age agricultural settlement were recorded, with features comprising the remains of two roundhouse plots and associated pits and gullies recorded across the site. Three successive phases of occupation were identified on one of the roundhouse plots indicating a period of continuous occupation of up to 220 years.
