Naïve CD4+ T cells, traditionally perceived as a homogenous and resting population, possess an unrecognized diversity which can be crucial in understanding disease contexts and therapeutic outcomes. In this study, we unveil distinct subpopulations within murine peripheral naïve CD4+ T cells using single-cell RNA-seq and in depth immunological experiments.
