资源简介:
Chickpea is a major grain legume used as food since ancient times. Heat stress during the flowering stage results in significant yield losses by adversely affecting pollen viability, fertilisation and seed development, consequently leading to a reduced harvest index and greatly impacting chickpea yield. Whole genome resequencing based QTL seq was used for identifying candidate genomic regions for heat stress tolerance related traits in chickpeas. Whole genome resequencing data generated for six pools for three different traits as days to pod initiation, hundred seed weight and normalised difference vegetation index alongwith two parents, ICCV 92944 and DCP 92-3. The present study highlighting the importance of QTL seq in fine mapping of candidate genes may be useful for developing climate resilient early varieties of chickpea
