DOE ARM SGP Solar-Infrared Radiation System (SIRS) Data. Version 1.0

This data set contains 60 second resolution up/downwelling long/shortwave hemispheric irradiances, and diffuse/direct shortwave irradiance from the Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Southern Great Plains (SGP) Solar Infrared Radiation Station (SIRS). These SIRS stations are located at many of the ARM SGP Extended Facilities in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. This data set covers the period from 1 July 2001 through present. These data are in monthly zip files (with an average size of 88 Mb) containg netCDF files. UCAR/JOSS has not done any additional processing or quality control on these data.
