Equilibrium Model Solver

The research summarises an advanced, multifarious thermodynamic equilibrium model of a downdraft biomass gasifier. The model solver incorporates the operating conditions needed to solve the system of equations along with the multi-equation system. The code is able to predict the syngas composition at different operating parameters, the lower heating value and cold gas efficiency efficiency of the syngas and the tar and char yields. The code can be manipulated accordingly to predict results of different biomass feedstock by changing the ultimate analysis and heating properties of the feedstock.
