Quercetin treated cells showed differential regulation of 1527 genes and the upregulated genes were involved in epithelium and tissue development and differentiation. Airway basal cells from patients with COPD were treated with quercetin, isolated total RNA and subjected to Affymatrix gene expression analysis.
