This series contains copies of the deeds of trust of superannuation funds, both Government and non-Government, collected by Death Duties Branch in order to assess duty. Details of the various funds were obtained in order to examine them and to determine which were eligible for exemption from duty. All decisions regarding which funds were exempt are contained in the series NRS 13349 Superannuation cards, c. 1940 - 1981.
