资源简介:
his study seeks to determine the prevalence of food industry involvement in all research items published in the top five nutrition and dietetics journals in 2023. We predict that, despite updated guidelines, the prevalence of food industry-involved research will remain unchanged (based on data from 2018)(Sacks et al., 2020). We hypothesize that a higher proportion of food industry-funded articles will report results or make conclusions that are favorable to the food industry than a random sample of articles determined to not have food industry involvement. We also predict that articles deemed to have food industry involvement will include an overall higher risk of bias and a higher risk of bias across all domains compared to a random sample of articles without food industry funding.
