资源简介:
This study investigates the transcriptional landscape during the settlement of the convict surgeonfish Acanthurus triostegus, with a focus on hormone signaling and metabolic pathways. We conducted bulk transcriptomic analysis of whole larvae collected during recruitment to the reef (D0), and one (D1), three (D3), and eight (D8) days after recruitment, as well as settled juveniles. The samples were sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform (151 bp paired-end reads) at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Sequencing Center. This study provides insights into the gene expression changes that occur as the fish transition from larval to juvenile stages in their new reef environment.
