We designed a fully factorial experiment examining how plant and soil biodiversity impact arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal communities under drought conditions. We further assessed how the ecological strategy of 16 herbaceous plant species, spanning a gradient of plant-mycorrhizal reliance, affected root-associated AM fungal diversity and composition.
