Soil Organic Carbon and Total Nitrogen data of the heap

The study was conducted in southern Poland at the Sośnica hard coal post-mine spoil heap (50⁰ 16' 22" N, 18⁰ 44' 43" E) in Gliwice and Zabrze, Upper Silesian Coal Basin. Samples from the organic (Oi+Oe) and uppermost mineral horizons (0–10 cm depth, A horizon) were collected from each plot in October 2021. A composite soil sample for each plot was collected from five subsamples (4 points at the corners and one in the middle of each plot).本研究于波兰南部上西里西亚煤田（Upper Silesian Coal Basin）格利维采（Gliwice）与扎布热（Zabrze）地区的索什尼察硬煤矿废弃矸石堆（Sośnica hard coal post-mine spoil heap）开展，该研究地点的地理坐标为北纬50°16′22″、东经18°44′43″。2021年10月，研究人员从各样地采集有机层（Oi+Oe）与最上部矿质土层（0–10 cm深度，A层）的土壤样本；每个样地的混合土壤样品由5份子样混合制成，子样分别采集自样地四角的4个采样点与样地中心的1个采样点。
