Input dataset for "Where to Watch the Water: Multi-Sensor Network Design Optimization for Inland Flood Detection"
收藏资源简介:
Compiled input dataset for the multi-sensor flood detection network optimization framework. Files included: - master_dataset.csv: 238,019 candidate sensor locations across 65 HUC10 basins in the Southern Appalachians, with hydrogeomorphic attributes (drainage area, flow accumulation, Strahler stream order, channel slope, terrain slope, elevation, TWI, mean annual precipitation, lake fraction) and tract-level flood risk descriptors (FEMA NRI riverine event frequency and expected annual loss). - studyarea_huc10s.{shp,dbf,shx,prj,cpg,sbn,sbx,shp.xml}: HUC10 watershed boundary shapefile for the 65-basin Southern Appalachian study area, derived from the USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). - USGSgages_in_ROI_5states.csv: Active USGS streamflow gaging stations within the study domain (69 gages), with coordinates and metadata extracted from USGS NWIS. Underlying source data are derived from NHDPlus High Resolution (USGS), 3DEP 10-m DEM (USGS), FEMA National Risk Index (FEMA, 2025), USGS NWIS, and NOAA MRMS Quantitative Precipitation Estimates (NOAA NSSL). See the accompanying paper and the analysis code repository (linked under Related identifiers) for full provenance and reproducible workflow.
