Cyclospora cayetanensis genotyping using targeted amplicon sequencing. Cyclospora cayetanensis

A targeted amplicon sequencing (TAS) method for genotyping Cyclospora cayetanensis was developed for determining genetic linkages among contaminated food items and clinical stool specimens from cyclosporiasis cases. The 52-marker TAS panel has a greatly improved genomic resolution, which is demonstrated in this study, compared to earlier methods. This project contains sequence datasets from application of the TAS method to both clinical specimens and fresh raspberry samples inoculated with clinical specimens.
