Reproducibility Archive for: Comparing a Four-Centred Tudor Reference with Source-Guided Iranian Arch Profiles: A Multi-Metric Geometric Analysis
收藏资源简介:
This repository provides the reproducibility materials supporting the study entitled: "Comparing a Four-Centred Tudor Reference with Source-Guided Iranian Arch Profiles: A Multi-Metric Geometric Analysis." The archive contains the source-guided CAD geometry, Python analysis scripts, normalized coordinate data, machine-readable numerical results, and figures used in the study. The main components include: CAD source data: A DXF drawing containing the fifteen reconstructed arch profiles (P1–P15), including the Iranian candidate profiles and the study-defined four-centred Tudor reference. Computational scripts: Python scripts (stages 01–11), a main execution script (run_all.py), and shared geometry and metric modules used for profile reconstruction, geometric measurements, distance calculations, sensitivity analyses, and figure generation. Coordinate data: Normalized coordinates and reference data used in the geometric comparisons. Numerical results: Machine-readable CSV and JSON files containing geometric descriptors, pairwise candidate distances, similarity measurements, sensitivity analyses, reconstruction checks, and comparisons with the Halfpenny-derived analytical envelope (HE). Figures: The four main manuscript figures are provided in both PDF and PNG formats. The candidate profiles P1–P3 are based on the drawing methods discussed in the translated work of al-Kāshī, P4–P8 follow the source-guided constructions documented by Zomoroshidi (1983), and P9–P14 follow the constructions described by Pirnia (1994). The CAD profiles are analytical redraws guided by published descriptions and illustrations; they are not field-surveyed measurements or original historical CAD files. The primary geometric comparison evaluates profiles P1–P14 against the study-defined Tudor reference (P15), using vertical root-mean-square (RMS) distance, sampled symmetric Hausdorff distance, and orthogonal RMS distance. Additional analyses examine alignment conventions, rise-controlled comparisons, curvature, apex angles, numerical sensitivity, and the Halfpenny-derived analytical envelope (HE). Reproducibility instructions The analyses require Python 3 and the packages listed in requirements.txt. After installing the dependencies, the complete workflow can be initiated using: python -m pip install -r requirements.txt python run_all.py The workflow reads the supplied DXF source and reference data and generates the derived numerical tables, coordinate exports, and figures in the outputs directory. The archived results support the verification and extension of the geometric analyses reported in the associated manuscript. The findings concern conditional geometric proximity and do not establish historical transmission or structural equivalence. The README.md file provides further details about the archive structure, geometry conventions, source mappings, computational workflow, and AI-assisted code development disclosure.
