This dataset is part of the Geographical repository maintained by Opendatasoft. This dataset contains data for autonomous communities in Spain. Autonomous communities is a first level of political and administrative division. Names are in Spanish. An official alternate local name (Catalan or Occitan language) is provided (when the alternate name exists). Processors and tools are using this data. Enhancements Add Spain ISO 3166-3 code. Add Autonomous communities ISO 3166-2 codes. Simplify geometries to provide better performance across the services.
