Länder Expert Survey (LES) 2024: Saxony, Thuringia, Brandenburg

The Länder Expert Survey (LES) contains the party positions of the state associations of the German parties. This dataset contains party positions for the state elections in Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg in 2024. In addition to the codebook, the ‘raw data set’ with all expert assessments (les_expert_level_long.csv) is uploaded here in long format or in wide format (_wide). The file ‘les_median.csv’ contains the median positions for all variables. All experts who answered at least ten questions were taken into account for the aggregation, although all the long and wide datasets contain all expert answers.
