The dataset relates to rhyncholites from modern and fossil nautilds. It consists of 3D files (.ply format) of 254 rhyncholites. A file links the 3D surfaces and collection references of the specimens. Another figure file entitled #Souquet et al 2023 - rhyncholites - Lethaia - Sup Figures.pdf# corresponds to the supplementary files of the article Nautilid beaks: unsuspected disparity and palaeoecological interpretation.
