Australian Food System Policy Dashboard

This is a dashboard that visualises a mapping of Australian Federal Government policies relating to the food system against activities and outcomes. It presents the Food System Policy Mapping tool, which was developed as part of wider process for examining policy coherence within the Australian Food System.\nLineage: The data in this dashboard is based on policies relating to the food system were collected from a number of sources. Each policy was analysed by a reviewer and any clear connections between purpose of the policy and an element of food system activities, outcomes, target populations, or stakeholders, would be recorded. Each policy received a secondary analysis to act as a peer review. The food system activities are based on categories and definitions designed by van Berkum (2018). The food system outcomes were adapted from the HLPE food system frameworks.\nThe data is then presented using a Sankey diagram with food system activities and food system outcomes as endpoints. The diagram is supported by a table that describes each included policy.
