Data for "Beyond fixed-radius footprints: boundary-referenced ecological effects of three Chinese greenfield hub airports"

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Beyond fixed-radius footprints: boundary-referenced ecological effects of three Chinese greenfield hub airports”. The dataset contains processed and derived research data, intermediate products, and analysis outputs used for the boundary-referenced ecological assessment of Beijing Daxing International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. Xi’an Xianyang International Airport and Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport are included as auxiliary reference sites where applicable. The observation period is 2013–2025. The archived materials support analyses of Landsat-based Remote Sensing Ecological Index (RSEI), signed distance from operational airport boundaries, Theil–Sen and Mann–Kendall trends, Before–After–Control–Impact contrasts, segmented regression, placebo-boundary tests, regional-trend adjustment, spatial-block uncertainty analysis, and cross-checks using MODIS net primary productivity, annual land-cover data, and the China Annual Cropland Dataset.
