An MDA Process with which to Generate Semantic Data from Data Requirements

This work proposes a process within the MDA framework that follows a roadmap for the generation of semantic data and the creation of domain ontologies, in which a semantic dataset is the result of the unification and alignment of the data in the context of its domain. Our proposal identifies four phases (from CIM to code), describing the artefacts and transformations required in order to move to the next phase: first the data and domain specifications are collected and the graphic schema and data requirements are obtained. The target domain model is then obtained from the data requirements, after which the ontological schema and ontology are generated from the aforementioned model. A domain specific language (DSL), which is defined in this work, is subsequently used to obtain the DSL code that, by means of an annotation engine also defined in this work, obtains the final semantic dataset.
