Layer detailing the pre-emption perimeters of natural sites of ecological or landscape interest, fragile or threatened and to be the subject of conservation and management measures by the Department of Vaucluse. These perimeters of pre-emption constitute a tool of monitoring and land control of the natural spaces of the department. The objective of classification as a Sensitive Natural Area is to preserve the quality of sites, landscapes, natural environments and flood expansion fields and to ensure the safeguarding of natural habitats The ‘Sensitive Natural Areas’ (ENS) scheme of the Department of Vaucluse is intended to: * the acquisition of sensitive natural areas by municipalities or their groupings, * the definition of management plans for these areas, * the development and management of these areas [Sites labelled "Espace Naturel Sensible" en Vaucluse](https://www.vaucluse.fr/our-territories/spaces-naturels-sensibles-biodiversite-et-paysages/sites-labellises-espace-naturels-sensibles-a-decouver-1594.html) The [Schéma Départemental des Espaces Naturels Sensibles](https://www.vaucluse.fr/fileadmin/Documents_PDF/Nos_territoires/ENS/SCHEMA-ENS_2019.pdf), validated on 22 March 2019, provides for a plan of actions on 2019-2025, for the preservation of the biodiversity and landscapes of the Vaucluse.
