The black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens L.) were used to treat food waste. The food waste C/N ratio was modulated to 21:1, 18:1 and 16:1. The BSFL growing in the above conditions were analyzed and compared for the transcriptome, in order to understand the gene expression regulation derived from the C/N conditions.
