The films story is based on real evidence images of Japanese war crimes during the Nanjing Massacre. A group of civilians hiding in the Lucky Photo Studio are forced to develop film for Japanese military photographers in order to survive, but accidentally develop photos that prove the Japanese armys massacre in the city. Originally just trying to stay alive during the massacre, they decide to preserve these negatives in the face of the Japanese armys atrocities in Nanjing...
