Water is essential for living and non-living things. It serves a variety of purposes from personal use to business purposes. Maintaining clean water is crucial to prevent contamination. For businesses that rely heavily on clean water such as private resorts, it is significant to maintain the level of the swimming pool water. Water quality is affected by several factors such as contaminants, chemicals pouring, and filtering techniques. Testing and treatment must be done regularly to ensure that the water quality is at its best. However, due to varying conditions during the guests\u2019 stay, the usual maintenance is affected and therefore needs priority attention, creating a huge barrier to normal operations. Over the years, the Internet of Things (IoT) was widely studied and utilized to enhance the manual method of water pool maintenance. With the advancements of artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning surpassing all existing methods of IoT, there is no doubt that AI will moreover top the water quality analysis using image processing. In this research study, an original dataset of different swimming pool water classified as crystal clear, cloudy, blue, light green and green were successfully collected. Moreover, the research study aimed to introduce a novel mechanism for classifying swimming pool water using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). With the utilization of ResNet50 as a baseline, enhanced with CBAM and Fuzzy in building an ensemble model, a significant accuracy of classifying the pool water images is achieved.
