资源简介:
The core hypothesis of this study is that an individual’s congenital endowment (determined by the climatic and astronomical conditions at the time of birth according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory of "Five Movements and Six Qi") is significantly associated with the risk of developing senile dementia in later life.We analyzed a retrospective cohort of 3,656 individuals (age ≥60) from the 2018 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS).The data reveals that specific congenital patterns are significant risk factors: Bing years (OR=1.482), Gui years (OR=1.544), Wei Earthly Branch (OR=1.518), and the Taiyin Shitu Sitian-Taiyang Hanshui Zaiquan period (OR=1.338). No significant associations were found for Dominant or Guest Qi.Researchers can utilize this data for cross-cultural comparative studies or integrating ethnomedical theories into geriatric medicine.
