Data and code for "Ecosystem service consequences of global agricultural trade across 186 countries: A four-dimensional Kaya-LMDI decomposition"

This record contains the processed data and analysis code that reproduce the main results of the article "Ecosystem service consequences of global agricultural trade across 186 countries: A four-dimensional Kaya-LMDI decomposition" (Journal of Cleaner Production). It includes a processed national–year panel (2000–2020; four ecosystem-service dimensions — carbon sequestration, water yield, soil conservation, food production — together with GDP, agricultural export value and agricultural land), the LMDI-I additive decomposition results (global, Global North/South, and country level), and the Tapio decoupling results, together with the Python scripts that perform the decomposition and the decoupling classification. The national ecosystem-service values are derived from the global 1-km biophysical rasters of Tian et al. (2025), which are not redistributed here. See README.md for file descriptions and usage.
